Bloody hell, that stuff hit me hard!
Started with Special Brew at my house, progressed onto 7.3% Scrumpy in the Savoy followed by 63% overproof rum...
The cider nearly killed me - it smelt like vinegar, tasted like apple juice, and sent me to sleep.
Bob - apologies for being such a lamo on your B'Day! (I left early because I was so drunk I couldn't keep my eyes open - don't think that's EVER happened to me in my clubbing career before).
I'm never drinking more than a pint of that cider again!
Could still taste the rum in the morning...

I remember telling you that you'd feel it in the morning. I can't remember when I left, but I think it was early. I was hammered! Unit-for-unit though, I think I've survived on more - it was mostly because we mixed wine, cider, lager and spirits. Pretty stupid combination!
