I know it's a while away yet and I did ask this before, but no-one replied.

What are everyone's ideas for NYE this year?

It's on a Weds night so I am not sure if all the clubs will be open.

house parties are always more fun than going into town... anyone remember the millenium? who went out? and who had fun at a house party.

Nuff said (sorry, couldn't help myself)

I was at a house party and loads of people from college were there. It was great! Someone set fire to their sock when they were letting off the fireworks! He he!

A house party would be fun, but who is going to throw one? There will be so many people so the house needs to be quite big and they need to be able to cope with the madness of everyone being plastered!

James?

I went to your house party dave and i have to say that the last three new years eves were much better when spent in town . Ill follow the crowd though like a sheep in a field.

I don't really mind where I go - I guess I don't care as long as everyone is there! I'll be a sheep too, but I will say I thought the Steam was good last year.

Ive got a promise to myself that i will never be in mission for new years eve. And i plan to keep that promise.

Anyway, james told me he is planning a big house party round his joint. And he says your all invited! Except mike.

I think it's about a tenner for mission on NYE. I remember last year my ex's mate was trying to get us to leave the Steam and was so desperate for us to go he was going to pay, but we didn't - ha ha!

House party at Jim's sounds wicked!

Jimmy

07-10-2003 15:43:07

Who was that?

Im not having a house party round mine!!!

The plan is to go somewhere fun. Not Swindon. A convoy of cars to head up somewhere like... London. House party and Big clubs.

Only a small crowd will be invited though.

Just some nob - I can't stand him!

Ah go on - it will be fun! He he!

Cool!

Jimmy

Well I can have a party at mine but it would have to finish at about 1 as my parents would come home from wherever they are going. (although they might be going on holiday so we'll see...)

But My plan is to go to London to go clubbing then have a party at Ell's after (although he doesnt know this yet)

JoeyJoJo

Well it's early days yet anyway - I was just seeing what peoples ideas were.

London will be very expensive on NYE though! Have to get tickets too I expect.

Bob

London sounds cool.........but will it beat spending new years eve sitting on top of the lion in town?

JoeyJoJo

08-10-2003 10:28:24

Ha ha! That's gone now!

Mike

08-10-2003 12:39:48

Probably at home with my pipe and slippers, i may go crazy with a party popper when the bells sound but im not sure about that yet

JoeyJoJo

08-10-2003 13:07:55

Well don't over do it and spend the start of the new year suffering from exhaustion Mike

Jimmy

08-10-2003 13:08:31

How about new years on the lions under Nelson's Column!!!

JoeyJoJo

08-10-2003 13:11:24

I'd be worrid about getting attacked by going to London on NYE though - I can't remember where I read it now by 1 in 4 London residents have been the victim of some sort of attack in London! Scary!

I know we're not residents, but it's still quite a scary place. I know someone who went on a training course there and got mugged!

Perhaps I just worry too much!

Jimmy

08-10-2003 13:26:37

do you really think a huge group of blokes (with a few birds there too) are going to get mugged???

JoeyJoJo

08-10-2003 13:32:22

Probably not, but then what are you lot going to do if ya did get started on or one of us got mugged!? He he! Kidding!

Matt

08-10-2003 16:49:39

Mike lives in Reading. He's trained and experienced in these things. He'll see them off.

Bob

I would help any of my friends who got in a fight - remember the ian crosbie vs sean lennon fight - i was up on the grassy bank cheering him on at the top of my voice. I even gave a statement for him at the police station! So you guys have nothing to worry about!

Mike

10-10-2003 12:37:53

I only remember you spilling some guys drink in mission and then running off so Tom spooner had to calm him down
