Come on it was brill wasn't it?

Playing football with your mates every day. Messing about, singing dancing and having a gay time.

Tell me some stories from school...

My school was great until about year 8/9, when some weirdo who'd lived in America (after living in britain for a while) came and ruined everything.

Was a sad day and everyone still gets quite upset.

My best bit of school was playing football every lunch time and then coming back to school after it had finished for some more football. And we are all still shit at it!

Jimmy

Nah we're great. I wish we still played loads of footy. Maybe in 5 years when you've all got jobs and I am still a student we can play every day after work. That would be sweet.

Still waiting for either the firestation or Southampton review bo0b

School was fantastic.

Dinner ladies, jumpers for goalposts, fights behind the Spa after school!

Some legends went to Commonweal - let's all name one!

For starters I'll name Mickey Moody.
Climbed up the pipes in the changing room, fell headfirst onto a stone floor from a height of about 10 feet then got up!
Used to headbutt tables for fun.
Finished his GCSE history exam in about 10 minutes then spent the next 1 hour 20 rhythmically tapping his pen on his teeth.

Crazy days!

What about tom gregory and his long list of everyone he was going to beat up? What a nice fellow he was. I hope hes rotting in a heroin filled shit hole.

Last I heard, he was doing time...

I wonder where the great all-time reprobate Shaun Lennon went to..?

Mike

Was that guy violent? I remember many years ago someone i think called 'lennon' went awol from his own school and had a grudge for losing to us at football, and taking a kicking from someone on our team in the process. Teachers were going round with sticks searching the grounds for him and the guy that hit him was locked in a room with PE teacher guards. It was the best day of my school life

Jimmy

Yeah Shaun was a cock. He beat up Iain Crosbie when we left school. What a fag.

Mike I think Ive asked you this before but do you know Seamus McKeown? I think he went to your school. He's funny. Reminds me of Lurch from the Adams Family.

Tim Little was always a charater -

One of the greatest commonweal moments (which is still recited today by a few people) was just before we were going to play football.....

Bob: "Alright tim, what are you doing after school today"

Tim: "You know, ill go home, have a bite to drink.............."

Classic!

Matt

Tim Little:
"I was so proud when we boo'd during the French national anthem. They deserved it for not letting us have some friendly fights"

Quality guy.

It's great bumping into old school people in Mission or the Steam.

Peter Cullingford is always a classic spot. Remember when we met Lance Newton, who proudly showed us his tattoos!

Met John Beale in Mission before as well.

Hoping to meet some more randoms at Christmas.

I went to a different school to most of the rest of you, as you might remember, but it was pretty fun, mostly due to its general riot mentality.
