First off, last friday driving to work in a rather spritied manner i managed to munch the gearbox and clutch on my car - its going to be off the road for a long while!. I didn't think it was much of a problem - i simply intended to speed up the work on my project car and get it MOT'd and road worthy within a few days! Enough to get me to work. Was a great plan until i found out the clutch in this car had decided to kill itself too! Anyway 2 days later and the car has a new clutch and I'm left with grazed nuckles, only for the clutch cable to snap driving the car out of the workshop. Wait a day for the new part straight from the dealer - wrong part. I now have to wait till monday for the correct one. They wont refund my money either, as they can supply the correct part! Bastards!! Its completely against the trade descriptions act, but I dont have the time to argue my case or involve trading standards. So im car-less until next week now. Not to mention im working 7 days a week at the moment 10am - 8pm!!!
Getting a lift to work, and spotted a rather nasty motorbike accident on the way, so we stopped to help. The guy on the motorbike came off the road at 85+mph and went straight through the middle of a road sign, luckily the bike took the impact and the rider ended up in a bush 50meters down the road. We helped to recover this guy's motorbike from a ditch, all i can say is that it was well and truely FUCKED! The guy is lucky to be alive, but still in hopsital from what I've heard! From chatting to the 2 other bikers they had been hitting 150mph on some parts of the road. The A4 is famed as one of the best roads in the country and people doing speeds like that isn't uncommon. The Police have prossecutions to prove it!
To top it all off -
some cunt stole my mobile phone (sony ericsson t610)! i've got 3 months of my contact left until 02 will give me a brand new phone (sony ericsson k700i). In the mean time 02 want £300 to replace the handset as it wasn't insured! The bastard that stole my phone was making phone calls at my expense. I had my contract, phone and sim card all suspended within in ten minutes of the theft, luckily. The phone is now completely useless to the theif - i just wish they'd hand it into the police. i've lost EVERYONES number and i had roughly 80 text messages saved on there that i dont particulary want anyone to read! uggghhh!
alex is now car-less, phone-less and money-less!!!!!!!! the moral of the story? Insure expensive possesions and dont nail the bollox outta your car or bike!
