Mission is changing its name to Studio. It sounds fucking class now. Theres 3 rooms. All named after colours (green, blue and red?)

Opens in a couple of weeks so hopefully everyone would be about for the new era of fun?

Let's hope they re-decorate the dive...

Let's also look at renamed clubs:
D&D; formally Chaos... Verdict: CRAP
Eros; formally Cairo's... Verdict: CRAP
The Furnace; formally Level 3... Verdict: CRAP
Soda; formally Vadim's... Verdict: CRAP

I don't hold much hope for Studio..

not long 2 wait Thursday 8th Studio will be open. Coyote will be shut for a bit longer as i told everyone back in January and the Pre Club bar is still in the pipeline. Door policy is going 2 b a lot stricter and ive spoken with loads of people over the last week or so that r going 2 give it a go.

In defence for what Matt said all the club you listed with name changes were not that special b4. Mission was a top club in its day. Lets hope its given a chance 2 rediscover that greatness !!!!

So has anyone else been yet then? What did you think?

I went in there on Sat night and I had a good night! I remember it was £4 to get in around 10.30p.m. but I can't honestly comment on the drinks prices or the musis as I was hammered! It was busyish - not rammed like it used to be though - guess it may take some time to take off. However I did notice that the clientelle was not as young as before and one of my friends was ID'd on the way in.

Changes I noticed -

Toilets - Re-decorated and the mens is now the ladies and vice versa.
Stairwell by lift - new carpet! Yay!
Seating area opposite the main bar - new wooden floor and is now a dance floor with a podium.
Area above the main bar - also has a new wooden floor and raised platform.
Bottom dance floor - pretty much the same, just redecorated.
DJ box - now on the bottom dance floor.
Balcony - the same, just decorate and has a platform where DJ box was.
Upstairs dance floor - now a seating area and quiet room.
Upstairs bar - the same, but redecorated.
Coyote - Now 'the green room' - redecorated, sofas on raised area to right, podium no longer above stairs but in corner by the bar - still plays cheesy music.

Basically theres a lot of white paint, new wooden flooring and funky brown leather sofas!

Seems to me its just Mission but painted white. I went past Studio just now(weds night) and it was open. Mission never did that!

It won't be open on a Weds night normally - last night was a VIP ticket only opening night.

I'll be making an appearance at Studio for the first time tonight.

Very excited, a whole new era is upon us!

Oh yeah I forgot to say - the staff have not changed either. The manager is still the same, so are the bar staff and door men - Shabba is still there! Yay!

Shabba still being a doorman makes me feel old - he was bouncing at Kaos when I first went there aged 17 - 5 years ago, that's crazy!

I know it's the same manager as I have just had a flashback from Sat night of going up to him and telling him I thought the refurb was good but that they needed to put hooks on the doors in the girls toilets as I had nowhere to put my handbag! He said it would be next on his list of things to do - ha ha, yeah right!!!

Ah the joys of vodka redbull!

I'm all for leather sofas, but switching round the toilets? Surely that's just asking for trouble! Clearly the manager has a sense of humour...

Well I am impressed - my next visit to Studio was 5 days later and there were hooks on the doors!
