I'm sorry everyone about being so anti-drunkit lately. I totally laxed in my duties!

Anyway, what do people think about drunkit? Shall I keep it running? Should something be done to update it?

Let me know here please!

Its a tough decision to make....

On the one hand there's my sentimental attachment to drunkit, but on the other hand nobody comes here anymore.

You could (with not too much effort) make it into a kinda UK version of FARK.com, that would be good. But now I'm just being self indulgent.

So I say.... Changes required to make drunkit relevant, perhaps more inclusion from others, but you'll have to just see.

Also have you noticed how there's no good political forum for the UK? You might enjiy running that, I'd help.

I think prizes are needed

this slow posting is the major prolem.

Nobody want to do drunkitting anymore.

Mike sticks in a joke, I stick in a serious post, Matt post the start of a thread and then forgets about it.

This thread more than any other shows drunkits deadness.

Sad
:?

True, true.

I think the problem is self-perpetuating. People stop visiting because they're busy, which makes it a little more dead, which stops other people from visiting, because it's a little quiet. This, in turn, stops people from posting.

What is needed is something to get back people on to Drunkit. Hmmm.

(Should I put this in the moderators section?)

It doesn't help that some of the topics (i.e. drinks) haven't been updated since April! I might start writing a new feature or something for Drunkit. Like a quiz maybe... test your knowledge of Old Town perhaps?

Maybe :D

HELLO!

Mike

you think turning drunkit into a political forum was a serious post?!
And I wasnt completely joking about the prizes, as matt can probably remember, his lollypops always got me and others into drunkit and crazy antics which could be reviewed through the website.

I promise to do more Thursday night reviews.

The first Vodbull of the year is on Thursday 30th September. By the Sunday there will be reports on Drunkit (although I can't guarrantee remembering anything past 9.30).

Hi!

Think Drunkit should be kept - as you said something needs to be done to make people visit again, I've stopped visiting as it's been quiet.

I also got annoyed as everytime I logged in it would show old posts as new posts!

Mike

That bugged me too but it wont happen again...

Matt

Yeah, that's one of the reasons I got rid of that Xoops shit.

My main problem with Drunkit is that the forums are separate from the rest. I need to somehow combine the logins.

Maybe after my project has finished :D

I like Drunkit. I haven't been here in a while, partly becaue of work, partly because of lack of internet connection, partly because Matt generally disagrees with whatever I say anyway, partly because there's nothing new. But I like Drunkit, and feel it ought to stay, even it seems to have gone all scary and large-print on me. Help-what have I done wrong?

You must have signed up for the disability account, drunkit for the blind

Hey, you can get that? I demand it in braile then!

I disagree.

Seriously though, go in to the Control Panel and select a theme that isn't "Drunkit Clean (High Contrast)"
