Hilarious quote from Sasa Curcic

Remember Sasa Curcic? Good player for Bolton, signed for Villa for ?4m, turned crap, left for peanuts. Ended up at Motherwell.
I was just reminded of a quote he made:

Just before he signed for Motherwell he came up with this absolute classic:

"I would not sign for another club, not even if I was offered 15 million
dollars. However, it would be different if they were to instead offer me
15 different women from all around the world. I would tell the club
chairman: 'Please let me make these women happy - I will satisfy them
like they have never been satisfied before'."

What a guy...

He was good on premier manager 97, but true, he was awful in reality, vlla seem to have a nack for bringng out the mediocrity in people. Savo Milosevic should have been the best forward in the premiership and was.... not bad.

We do have the knack for coaching all the skill out of reasonably competent footballers.

It sometimes goes the other way though - Merson reckons he played the best football of his career at Villa.

Watch out for Angel this season - he's going to have a stormer.

mertson did play well at villa actually. its just the major signngs that are a let down. And there aren't many major signings.

DOUG!

what ever happened to that venezuaelan chap?

Discussions are ongoing with the Venezualans.

Haven't heard anything for a few days, which means Doug hasn't said he isn't selling (bonus).

I think maybe they're looking into a few other clubs as well, but hopefully they'll decide Villa are worthy of their investment.

Birmingham are looking good arent they! Dunn and that new Argentinian striker.

They should finish in the top 10

Na'h, they'll be one season 'wonders' like Ipswich and Sunderland. See them struggling again. They've got loads of players, but lack quality. Dugarry is a one-trick-pony and everyone has sussed him out now.

They MIGHT finish top 13 if lucky.

I think they will be the best midlands team this year! :-D

Sam

Villa will suprise a few of their doubters.

With Alpay and Angel both happy again we've got a wicked attack/defense.
Need another central midfielder really though. O'Leary should find someone.
