Loved this little extract from http://education.guardian.co.uk/Print/0 ... 97,00.html

....explains the company's operations manager, Dan Norman. He is at pains to point out how well supervised typical VodBull events are, with staff on hand to assist the "tired and emotional" and a medical suite at one venue.

Rees-Evans described one such event. "People turn up at at eight, get their drinks down them and 20 minutes later they're bouncing off the walls. Most are dreadfully hung over next morning, but this never deters their return the following month. A mere hangover is getting off lightly. People fall unconscious in the toilets and aren't found until the club closes."

Can't wait for October - next VodBull!!!

Art student Julie wrote:"I, too, am on the wagon. It is great finding I'm inclined to make arrangements for 6pm on a Sunday - before, I never felt well enough to go out. Binge drinking is so normal when you're a student. And yes, I too found myself making rash decisions about partners when under the influence. It is easy to get very tolerant to alcohol - it was becoming quite common for a friend and I to get through several pints, a litre of vodka, and then some Guinness in order to feel better. It was starting to have an impact on my health. I bruise really easily and banging into things was starting to make me look like I was in an abusive relationship."
^ Classic!
