Why don't we vote?

Mrs Pankhurt's probably turning in her grave (stupid woman).

Do you reckon this is
a) because you don't value what you've got,
b) we're just too lazy
c) because we don't reckon it'll make any difference?
Well, vote on!

I think its a mixture of 2 and 3.. If it made a difference i'd be able to do it, and if I could be arsed I'd vote.

But in my constituency the conservatives ALWAYS get in so voting for anyone else is an excercise in futility. As such I can't be bothered.

You're right. All three points can be summed up in one word, 'apathy'.

No engagement, no attraction, no reason, no vote.

Would that be in lack of value?

Personally I don't vote because I can never decide who to vote for - every party has something I agree with and disagree with.

I know it is inevitable for this to happen, but I can't seem to justify voting for a party when I know I disagree with it's statements.

Another point is that I don't actually see what difference it makes. I think a lot of people just fine it easier to just let the running of the country go on and they will just live in it whatever way it is run. Unless something really offends them or a party's statement has something they strongly believe in, then there is not much motivation to vote.
